1. Product Overview

The hook features a multi-hole base plate, a fixed bent hook arm, and an elongated slotted hole at the upper rail connection section. During installation, the base plate is securely fixed to the roof rafter, timber beam, or other suitable load-bearing structure using wood screws or lag screws. The hook arm extends from beneath the roof tile, while the upper slotted hole connects to the solar mounting rail with a matching bolt and rail nut.

The standard version is manufactured from SUS304 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and long-term durability for outdoor photovoltaic applications. SUS316 stainless steel and hot-dip galvanized Q235 / Q235B carbon steel versions are also available according to project requirements.

The Universal Solar PV Tile Roof Hook is used as the structural connection between the pitched tile roof supporting structure and the aluminum photovoltaic mounting rail.

The hook base plate is fixed to the roof rafter or timber beam with suitable structural screws. The bent hook arm passes beneath the tile overlap area and extends above the roof surface.

The aluminum solar rail is then fastened to the upper slotted hole of the hook using a bolt and compatible rail nut or T nut.

Multiple roof hooks are installed along the roof structure to support the solar mounting rails. End clamps and mid clamps are then used to secure the photovoltaic modules to the rails.
