The L-shaped bracket features a vertical elongated slot for rail connection and adjustment, together with a fixing hole on the horizontal base for secure attachment to the roof structure. Its simple and practical design provides a stable connection between the metal roof and the photovoltaic mounting rail.

The standard L Foot is manufactured from high-strength aluminum alloy with anodized surface treatment, providing excellent corrosion resistance, lightweight performance, and long-term durability for outdoor solar applications.

4.Product Function

The Solar PV L Foot acts as an intermediate connection between the metal roof structure and the aluminum photovoltaic mounting rail.

The horizontal base of the L Foot is fixed to the roof structure using a suitable self-drilling screw, hanger bolt, or other roof fastener.

A waterproof EPDM pad or sealing washer can be installed between the L Foot and the roof surface when required.

The vertical section of the L Foot is connected to the aluminum solar rail through the elongated slot using a bolt and compatible rail nut.

The elongated slot provides installation adjustment, allowing the rail height and position to be aligned before final tightening.

After multiple L Feet and rails are installed, photovoltaic modules are secured to the rails using compatible mid clamps and end clamps.
